Batik Alam is produced so naturally using natural colors. For Batik lovers, Batik Alam is their best choice since it can last longer then other kinds of Batik. Materials for the color of Batik Alam are taken naturally, directly from nature. Among many materials, mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) is one of them, usually used to make red color. We just need 2 kg of dried mangosteen. That amount of mangosteen skin can become 80 liter dye. The process of creating such a color using mangosteen is like this: wash the mangosteen skin, dry it in direct sunlight, mash it well, blend it gently, and finally the material is ready to use as a dye.
